About the Author

Lombe P. Okpara is an entrepreneur, author, and business leader with experience across multiple industries, including technology, logistics, manufacturing, and advisory services.

He is the founder of businesses operating in:

  • Information Technology

  • Construction Services

  • Manufacturing

  • Commodity Trading - Agro, Minerals, Fuels

  • Investments and Immigration Advisory

While still working in the telecoms industry, he registered his first business in 2007. Nine (9) years later in 2016 he took the leap of faith to quit corporate employment to chase his dreams of fully running his own businesses and helping people build theirs as a consultant. This was a transformation of a side hustle to a main hustle. Amidst various successes and failures, the experience has been immense.

Lombe is privileged to have been involved in setting up and running business ventures in Zambia, South Africa, Malawi, Tanzania and Nigeria which has given him the needed international exposure to be able to draw similarities and differences from various african settings. Some of this exposure includes working with Yango Delivery (a world renowned mobility business) in Zambia as Chief Operations Officer driving the growth and expansion of their delivery business in Zambia and being part of Rovr International Group establishing commodity trading hubs and logistics service channels across South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and DRC.

He is an award-winning IT Specialist having been awarded a Gold Medal from the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (UK) (now part of the British Computer Society (BCS)), for being best student overall worldwide at Graduate level in 2004.

Lombe is a graduate of the University of Greenwich (UK), Edubex Higher Learning UK, and the University of Cape Town (South Africa). He also holds General Management Programme Certificate from Wits Business School (WBS) under the University of Witswatersrand - South Africa.

His books are based on real-life experiences, practical lessons, and years of business and personal development across Africa.
